"I do not feel my promotion is real yet. I think I was always the 1st in the ranking, but I feel like I was always in difficult situation, as there were so many difficult games for me.
Not to mention playing hard as a professional shogi player, I also want to work hard on promoting shogi in my hometown, as I am the first professional player from Tochigi prefecture in the post-war era."

Comment
"The first thought was that I felt relieved. I think I could play even better than my real strength in this term's 3-Dan League. I have not made a clear target yet, but I want to work hard so I can exceed the results and records of my master, 9-Dan Kobayashi, as many times as possible."
