7th Ricoh Cup Women's Ouza Invites Viktoria Riasnianska from Ukraine to Qualify Round

The 7th Ricoh Cup, Women's Ouza Tournament will hold an "All-together 1st Qualifying Round" on May 20th, where 60 players fight for the 2nd Qualifying Round, those are: 6 amateur players who won the East Japan Amateur Preliminaries on April 1st and the West Japan Amateur Preliminaries on April 16th, 1 foreign invited amateur player, two Shoureikai players, and 51 non-seeded Ladies Professional players.

The foreign invited player of the 7th term is Viktoria Mikhailovna Riasnianska from Ukraine.
She will play against Ladies 1-Dan Ajiki Fusako

Comment
In 2016, I luckily won the online preliminaries for the foreign invitation of the 6th Ricoh Cup Women's Ouza Tournament, and was invited to Japan to participate in the all-together 1st qualify round.
That experience in Tokyo stays in my mind as deep and impressive memories. It was not until I visited Japan, that I got to know a hint of what real shogi is actually like. The atmosphere the tournament has can never be reproduced in Europe.
This year I was able to win the online preliminaries again, and will come to Tokyo again to take part in the 7th Ricoh Cup Women's Ouza Tournament as the foreign invited player.
I am looking forward to being able to immerse myself in this exciting moment of playing shogi, not caring anything about the sounds and atmosphere that surrounds me ― the very moment, when I enter the game room, align the pieces on board, and can forget everything except shogi.

9-Dan Moriuchi's comment
I hereby announce my decision to move out to the Free-class.
I reached this conclusion after dropping out of the A-class of 2016 Ranking League (jun-i-sen).
I have gained so much memorable experiences such as breaking the record of win streak in Ranking League as well as many games in the Meijin title match. I am full of gratitude.
Hereafter I will make use of this experience to support further growth of Ranking League tournaments and Meijin title matches from a different standpoint from the player
